Lela Howard-Trainer

I'm a creative and non-fiction writer and recent graduate of the University of Virginia with a Distinguished Major in French and Drama. The daughter of two writers and originally from Washington, D.C., I've always written about what I know best while simultaneously seeking opportunities to expand my worldview through a written medium. I've used my writing skills as a Research Assistant at the Papers of George Washington, where I had several book introductions published, and to write a thesis on the relationship between the American literary market and French cultural memory of female Resistance fighters in the Second World War that received high distinction. I look forward to the next chapter of my writing life!
